Dear friends,
Springtime is here, and as hundreds of Palestinian children eagerly anticipate summer vacation, I approach you again with a request for help.
We are preparing now for the fourth consecutive year the Summer Games in the South Hebron Mountains (West Bank). An area in which children experience daily warlike and traumatizing circumstances. The Summer Games will also include the children in the slums of East Jerusalem. The program is intended to give children a chance to be kids for a while and to take a real vacation from their normal reality.
As in past years, the Summer Games will be a cooperative effort between Palestinian and Jewish volunteers. With their help and your support we are planning to organize games, activities and trips for each child for one week this summer. (See below)

הקיץ בפתח ועימו חופשת הקיץ, לה מחכים ילדי הכפרים הפלסטיניים בקוצר רוח.
אני פונה אליכם גם השנה בבקשה לתמיכה בפעילותנו.
זו השנה הרביעית של "משחקי-קיץ" בדרום הר חברון, אזור בו הילדים סובלים ממציאות יומיומית של עימותים אלימים והתנכלויות טראומתיות. גם השנה יכלול הפרויקט את ילדי העוני במזרח ירושלים.
פרויקט הקיץ, מידי שנה, מתעתד להחזיר לילדים, ולו במעט, את הילדות שנלקחה מהם ולאפשר להם הפוגה ממציאות חייהם הקשה.
כמו בשנים קודמות, "משחקי-קיץ" יקום בזכות פעילות משותפת של מקומיים פלסטיניים ומתנדבים יהודים.
בעזרתם ובעזרת תמיכתכם נוציא לפועל תוכנית שתכלול פעילויות משחק וטיולים לכל אחד מהילדים למשך שבוע במהלך הקיץ. (פירוט למטה)
