חזרה לבילעין - הפגנת ענק, יום שישי, 27/10 כבר 20 חודשים נאבק הכפר בילעין על חייו ועל עתידו. גדר ההפרדה גזלה ממנו כמחצית מאדמותיו, במטרה להרחיב את ההתנחלות מודיעין עילית. מול כוחות השלטון וההון - המדינה וכרישי הנדל"ן, המנסים לנשלם מאדמותיהם, מנהלים אנשי בילעין מאבק עממי לא-אלים נחוש, בשיתוף ישראלים ותומכים מחו"ל. ביום שישי, 27 באוקטובר 2006, תיערך בבילעין הפגנה גדולה, לראשונה מזה זמן רב. הצטרפו אלינו ובואו לחזק את אנשי בילעין במאבקם הצודק בתקופה קריטית זו. יחד נקרא: לא לגדר! לא להפרדה! לא לחד צדדיות! לא לגזל אדמות! לא להתנחלויות! לא לכיבוש!... Lift the Siege on the Grapes - El-Khader, 8/10/06 Al-Khader is a center for vine yards, as is the Bethlehem area in general. Every year its fertile land yields 11,000 tons of grapes. Not long ago, these grapes were marketed to the entire West Bank, to Jordan, to Gaza and to Israel. Nowadays, when roads are blocked and new decrees restrict the delivery of grapes, the local produce has no market. We are preparing now for the fourth consecutive year the Summer Games in the South Hebron Mountains (West Bank). An area in which children experience daily warlike and traumatizing circumstances. The Summer Games will also include the children in the slums of East Jerusalem. The program is intended to give children a chance to be kids for a while and to take a real vacation from their normal reality. As in past years, the Summer Games will be a cooperative effort between Palestinian and Jewish volunteers.
