הקואליציה נגד הגדר מזמינה אתכם להפגנת ענק בבילעין,  יום שישי, ה- 20.1.06
   
   
חברים וחברות יקרים,
כבר כמעט שנה שאנו מקיימים מדי שישי הפגנה בלתי אלימה ביחד עם שותפינו מבילעין נגד גדר ההפרדה, המשמשת תואנה להפקעת אדמות הכפר למען בניית והרחבת ההתנחלויות. עד כה נגזלו למעלה ממחצית אדמות הכפר וכ-2,000 דונם נוספים עומדים בפני הפקעה. ב-1 בפברואר יתכנס ביהמ"ש העליון לדון בעתירה של תושבי בילעין נגד הגדר.

מאבקם של תושבי הכפר, יחד עמנו, מתמיד, למרות אלימות הצבא, ששתל יותר מפעם יחידות מיוחדות ויחידות של מסתערבים במטרה להפוך את ההפגנות הלא אלימות לאלימות. תושבי הכפר מתמידים בהתנגדותם ואינם נכנעים לאלימות הצבא – בין אם בהפגנות עצמן ובין אם בהטרדתם הבלתי פוסקת בשעות הלילה בכפר והמעצרים הרבים שבוצעו על ידו.

תמיכתנו, השותפים הישראלים, גם היא נמשכת למרות נסיונות הצבא השונים למנוע את הגעתנו. דרך המאבק הזה הצלחנו לפרוץ גבולות רבים בתודעה הישראלית: חשפנו, פעם אחר פעם, את האלימות הברוטאלית של כוחות הצבא מול המפגינים הבלתי אלימים. הצלחנו להראות שתוואי הגדר לא נקבע משיקולי בטחון אלא משיקולים התנחלותיים. הצלחנו לשבור את מחסום התקשורת.

לקראת הדיון בביהמ"ש העליון בעתירתם של תושבי בילעין נגד הגדר, נצא ביום שישי, ה-20 בינואר, להפגנת ענק נגד הגדר וההתנחלויות בכפר בילעין, ולהביע תמיכה במאבקם של תושבי בלעין.  
מאבקם של תושבי בלעין הפך לסמל המאבק נגד הגדר – השותפות הפלסטינית-ישראלית היא חלק ממאבק זה.

 אנו מזמינים את כל מי שכבר היה בבילעין, ואת כל מי שרק שמע וטרם היה, להצטרף אלינו למאבק.

A mass demonstration in Bil'in, Friday, 20.1.06
   
Dear friends and comrades,
For almost a year now, we demonstrate regularly together with our partners from Bil'in against the wall and the settlements that rob over half of the village's lands. these days the people of the Palestinian village of Bil’in will lose the rest of their lands – 2000 dunams – to the Separation Fence.

The people of Bil'in, have been demonstrating every Friday, in a non-violent way, in spite of the  chain of collective punishments that includes arrests by the army. the army has "planted" more than once special units and units of camouflaged as Arabs (mistaarvim), with the aim to transform the non-violent demonstrations in to violent ones. The army forces have invaded the village at night time and made arrests. The army tried to stop the Israelis to come but couldn’t prevent our solidarity.

In spite all this, the struggle goes on. Trough this struggle we’ve managed breaking through many walls of silence in Israeli conciseness: we’ve exposed, time and again, the use of brutal military violence by the army in its attempts to suppress the struggle - violence that is contrasted by the demonstrators’ nonviolence. We’ve managed to show that the path of the wall is not security driven, but settlement driven.

On February 1st the Supreme Court will convene to discuss Bil'in's petition against the wall. Bil’in struggle became the symbol of the fight against the apartheid fence – the Palestinian-Israeli solidarity is a crucial part of this struggle.  

We invite all people - those that already stood with us in Bil'in, and those who still didn't - to come and join us in the struggle.
